Dinner tonight consisted of two courses.
1. Apple and squash soup and yeast rolls, served with white wine
2. Vegetarian stuffing, stir-fry tofu with spinach and rice noodles, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, cranberry tangerine conserve, served with pumpkin ale.
Dessert was ginger cookies. It was amazing.
Richard Serra's construction of space in Blind Spot and Open Ended establishes a dialectic between the direct experience of the work imposing itself on the space of the viewer and the participatory experience of the viewer entering the work's created space.
I think this is a pretty good thesis. Hopefully the paper follows suit.
